How to layer a farm
THIS IS THIS GROUPS DEFINITION OF A LAYERED FARM: LAYERING IS WHEN YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE LAYER OF CROPS ON THE SAME FARM, AND YOU DELETE AFTER HARVESTING. (like layers of a cake, one on top of the other)
(NOT recommended for stacked farms!)
1. Decide what crops you want to plant and open as many tabs to the same farm as the number of crops you're planting. All crops must be different from each other on the same farm. You can't put the SAME crop on different layers on the SAME farm!
(for these instructions, we are only doing 4 layers, but you may do more---I have seen people say they've done 20, but I would stick to under 10)
2. Go OFFLINE on all tabs (click plug icon to turn red)
3. Go to first tab. Plant entire farm in the longest time crop (for example, any 4 day crop)
4. Go to second tab. Plant entire farm in next longest crop OR a different 4 day crop (either a 3 day or a different 4 day)
5. Go to third tab. Plant entire farm in next crop (2 day crop, or different same time crop as prior layer)
6. Go to fouth tab. Plant entire farm in final crop (1 day or different same time crop as prior layer)
AT THIS POINT, YOU MAY USE THE RED SPRINKLER TO SHORTEN THE GROW TIMES
When top crop is ready----Harvest ONLY--DO NOT PLOW!
After crop is harvested, use bulldozer to delete ALL plots
Refresh your screen and your next layer should be there. IF ready, harvest and repeat as many times as needed until you get to your last crop/farm
When you get to your bottom crop, harvest and plow and you will be ready to start the whole process again!
IF you lose track of where you are, and don't remember if there's a crop still underneath another one or not, plow ONE plot and refresh---If it stays plowed, you can finish plowing the rest. IF when you refresh, the plot that you plow is no longer plowed, delete that plot, refresh and you should have a crop showing.
